Scouting America and Adventure Crew Aqua-Ree 2025

Welcome to the exciting Aquaree 2025 Scouting program!
Learning to Scuba Dive is an exciting experience and an amazing introduction to the vast underwater world.

In the classroom, we will review eLearning materials, discuss safe diving practices, what-ifs, and dive theory. The fun interactive sessions are based upon your study pace.

We'll then move what you've learned into the pool; covering techniques, and doing routine underwater tasks to elaborate emergency procedures. Your time in the pool will cement what we discussed in the classroom as well as introduce lots of tips on how to make you a better diver.

During the 4 Open Water dives, we'll integrate some of the skills you've learned while pointing out some unique underwater structures and marine life.

Deadlines and Discover Scuba:

March 1^st  2:00pm – 4:00pm – Discover Scuba Class ($50 per Scout, $75 per non-Scout)

February 22 – March 19 – Regular registration ($425)

March 19 – Final registration deadline ($425)

Any make up days to be completed by Memorial Day (May 26)

**Students must attend a total of 5 pool sessions before June 1st:

    Swim test with skin diving, Confined Water -  CW1, CW2, CW3 and CW4

    Student to read Chapter prior to lecture

    Students must also attend all lectures and complete E-learning and pass prior to June   1^st.   

 June 13, 14 & 15, 2025 – Aqua Ree Scouts earn Merit Badges in Scuba Diving, Swimming,

Life Saving, CPR & First Aid and must attend and pass to earn Scuba Diving certification.
